TRAVELLING THE SACRED SOUND CURRENT is an album that explores the connection between sound and health, designed to accompany the book of the same name by vibrational healer Deborah Van Dyke's project Crystal Voices. The album offers nine meditations which incorporate crystal bowls, drums, gongs, natural sounds, synthesized ambience and Sanskrit chants into a gently flowing sound. This is highly centering music that helps the listener reduce stress and enter a higher state of consciousness. Those familiar with Van Dyke's previous works will want to pay special attention to the concluding track, a 20-minute crystal bowl meditation.
