Hawaiian Baby Woodrose is a beautiful flowering annual with thick, silky green leaves. It grows easily in any windowsill or sunny spot outdoors. needs lots of room, as it's a viney plant! We've had plants grow so tall, they reachpower lines, andcould possibly be part of the reason many feel this extraordinary plant should be considered an "invasive" plant.
The plants we offer are from a rare strain on Hawaiian Baby Woodrose, known to contain a high alkaloid content and grown only high in the mountains of Hawaii. The person who provided us with these plants for so many years died in 2008, so now we have clones of his plants and are the only ones who presently offer them. We will preserve this strain and pass it on to as many customers as possible.
Just remember that Hawaiian Baby Woodrose plants do not flower until the second year, so no matter how fast or tall your HBWR plant grows after your purchase, it most-likely won't flower the first time around.
