These Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds are imported directly from Ghana. Not nearly as high quality as our Hawaiian HBWR seeds, but we still guarantee that many will germinate. These are indeed A. nervosa, but are a different strain and don't have the fuzzy coating associated with seeds from Hawaii. Sold by weight, not by quantity...numbers may vary.
Properly cultivated this plant would still make an interesting addition to any garden, though, and because these seeds are so inexpensive, you can spread a large amount over a wide area. Spraying seeds with chemicals can not only weaken the strain, but it can greatly reduce germination rates of seeds as well. For this reason, we offer untreated seeds to our customers, organically grown and harvested as often as possible.

Seeds of the Argyreia nervosa may have once been used in sacramental rituals in the Pacific Islands by high priests, but research is quite spotty. Passiflora (Passion flower) is a little known MAOI that enhances the absorption of whatever accompanies it. We couldn't resist taking our Nelumbo/Nymphaea 50x resin extract and adding just a few dashes of Passiflora into the mix. We buy from a manufacturer that gets their Kanna from a farm that we feel grows the best Kanna in the world. We offer it not as a powder, but as natural, fermented and dried leaf. This amazing Kanna is not bitter like the powdered Kanna available everywhere else; it actually has a pleasant sweetness to it, and it can bring relaxation similar to Kava Kava without the fuss or messy extractions.
