This is a high quality, organic, shade-dried version of the Sacred Blue Lily of the Nile Dried Flowers and Tops that other sites sell for twice as much. A decoction or wine-infusion (typically about 7 grams per bottle) has been reported to have pleasant qualities, heightened when combined when the petals are jointly smoked in a pipe or rolled into a cigarette.
Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Lily) was held in very high esteem by the ancient Egyptians. Nymphaea caerulea (Blue Lily) was worshiped as a visionary plant and was a symbol for the origins of life. Traditionally, Nymphaea caerulea was drank after being soaked in warm water or wine, while a cigarette made of the dried flowers was smoked. These are flowers and tops only and are suspected to contain aporphine and nuciferine, natural alkaloids.

These are WHOLE organic Blue Lotus Flower Stamens, hand-picked from a single pond, on a small farm in Nepal. It takes a large amount of flowers to produce just a handful of stamens, so these are offered seasonally, and often disappear quickly. Verbascum thapsus (Great Mullein) is native to Europe, northern Africa and Asia, and introduced in the Americas and Australia. Dioscorides, the pioneering Greek physician, botanist, and pharmacologist, first recommended the plant 2000 years ago against pulmonary diseases, and this has remained one of its primary uses, especially against cough.
Today it is widely used for herbal remedies as it has emollient (hydrating) and astringent (anti-inflammatory) properties. Mullein has been used since ancient times as a remedy for skin, throat and breathing ailments. Click here for more info...

Passiflora incarnata has a perennial root, and the herbaceous shoots bear three-lobed, finely-serrated leaves and flesh-colored or yellowish, sweet-scented flowers, tinged with purple. The ripe, orange-colored, ovoid, many-seeded berry is about the size of a small apple. The yellow pulp is sweet and edible.
There appears to be no detailed analysis of this species, but its active principle, which has been called Passiflorine, has caught the interest of several researchers. The leaves and stems give a pleasant repose perhaps because it seems to have a calming effect on the central nervous system. It makes a GREAT tea no matter the time of day.

Tagetes erecta, Aztec Marigold, is indigenous from Mexico to Guatemala and naturalized in the rest of Central America and the western Andes of South America. In the Oaxaca region of Mexico the Zapotecs used Tagetes as a primary herb in purification rituals. The plant is popular with the Tarahumara Indians of Chihuahua and is used by the modern Huichol Indians in their religious rituals. When smoked, the plant is said to enhance closed-eye visions.
The botanical genus name Tagetes is in reference to a Roman deity, Tages, which was originally an Etruscan god of prophecy. Today Tagetes erecta continues to be a strong smoking herb - especially when blended in equal amounts with Tagetes lucida, Mexican Tarragon, to make a super combination the Aztecs dubbed "Zempaxochitl." Tagetes lucida is a beautiful, bright green perennial herb from the Sierra Mandre Mountains of Mexico. It is used by the local Indians recreationally as well as in the kitchen. It has a very mild anise flavor and a sweet taste. In Mexico, it is used as a tea to calm stomachs, relax nerves and to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover.
In ceremonies, the Huichol Indians from the Sierra Madre Mountains reportedly have visions when smoking the herb in combination with the consumption of fermented Tarragon tea, which is prepared the same way Sinicuichi is prepared. Tagetes lucida has been used since pre-Hispanic times and when smoked, is said to produce everything from euphoria to "closed-eye-images" similar to other herbs that were used used for divination. White Lotus is closely related to Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Lotus), which was worshipped as a sacred plant and was a symbol for the origins of life. White Lotus is extremely similar to Blue Lotus, but because it is in less demand and less colorful, we can offer it as a less expensive, but extremely popular alternative. These strong flowers found only in a small section of South Africa as well as India are part of our " Private Reserve" herbal offerings that no other vendor offers. Klip Dagga, as more and more folks realize, are the strongest strain of Wild Dagga available, and are the strain responsible for making Wild Dagga so famous (or infamous for some) throughout the world. The flowers are where the most concentrated active alkaloids are, and this is why we offer more than just one variety of plants; to educate you, our treasured customer on what is often misrepresented by many unscrupluous vendors. Find our WILD DAGGA LEAF, RESINS, & TINCTURES Category that explains the difference between the two main strains of Wild Dagga. This variety contains the large SEED PODS, which is what separates this stronger strain from the weaker Lion's Tail strain. Notice that hte photos of each product are different, and there's a reason for this: Lion's Tail is weaker and less expensive (but still a very nice herbal product), but many vendors we've found try to "pass off" that less expensive variety as "THE" infamous "Klip Dagga" variety as this one is. The active component responsible for the pleasant effects of this plant is Leonurine, which has now been isolated and is being synthesized in a lab, but of course, it's less effective than the actual plant. South Africa made this plant famous, and use is reported among several indigenous tribes who used both the leaves and the flowers of this powerful spiritual ally. The flowers were often added to tobacco, but also act as powerful enhancer for many other herbs. The flowers are where the most concentrated active alkaloids are, and as you decide on your Wild Dagga purchase, know this: There are many who offer Wild Dagga Flowers, but it's important to know this that these particular flowers are from the LESS STRONG (and less expensive) variety called "Leonotus leonurus" and not the more portent strain known as "Leonotis nepetifolia." The stronger strain of Wild Dagga flowers is also called "Klip Dagga" (and this goes for the leaves as well). This is why we offer more than just one variety of plants; to educate you about what is real about and what is often misrepresented by many unscrupluous vendors on the internet. Find our WILD DAGGA LEAF, RESIN & TINCTURES article that explains the difference between the two main strains of Wild Dagga. This particular variety (Lion's Tail) DOES NOT HAVE SEED PODS because this Lion's Tail variety does not grow from seed pods. This produces a much larger amount of flowers, but as is to be expected, is less strong than the Klip Dagga Flowers that we also offer. Ours flowers are soft, orange flowers only, hand-picked, with no pods, and already less expensive than anywhere else we have found, but find out for yourself; do the research, find the truth, and decide for yourself!
